Tension rod listings show an adjustable length range โ "28 to 48 inches" โ which tells you what it can physically extend to, not what it can hold straight without bowing at that length. Those are two different numbers, and only one of them is on the box.

Why does my rod sag even though it's within its listed length range?
Listed length range is the extension range, not a no-sag guarantee โ rods extended near their maximum are more prone to bowing regardless of being "within range."
